Bodies  For Transition
 

This series of mixed media on found wood panels or old paintings focuses on intuition. From “painting as an image” to “painting as an object, a body”.
In this ongoing investigation, materials and textures become the main element of interpretation. The defaults and marks appearing on the surface of the material, witnessing its past life, act like an old scar or birthmark, giving insight into the previous endeavor.
