This series of oils on “memories” are collage-like paintings that convey an expression of unclear reminiscence, and the association made by the brain, between seemingly unrelated elements. Memories are not stored in our brain, they are constantly rebuilt as we need to recover them and they can be very unreliable. This series is both based on personal memories and borrowed ones, as well as found pictures in books or the press; merging the past, the present, and the future.
